GATHER UP!

Craft & Gather is built on a simple idea: people belong together. It’s where neighbors become friends, the patio feels like your backyard, and genuine hospitality drives everything we do. With a pickleball court and driving range next door, there’s always a reason to gather. “Craft” is our care for quality food and drink; “Gather” is our belief that sharing them makes life better. More than a restaurant—it’s a community.

ABOUT US.

Craft & Gather opened its doors in 2017, born from a shared vision between Keith Spragg and Darrin Sander—LONG TIME INDUSTRY VETS AND two friends who believed Spokane Valley deserved a place where great food, local craft drinks, and genuine hospitality could come together under one roof.

Keith, who grew up here, was visiting family when he stumbled upon an old clubhouse for a shuttered golf course called Painted Hills. The building wasn’t built for a full-service restaurant, but it had character—and potential. He called Darrin with the idea, and not long after, the two teamed up to bring it to life.

What started with a shoestring budget and a whole lot of sweat equity slowly evolved into something special. Year after year, the space has grown and improved—patios, lawns, landscaping, and design upgrades—each one adding another layer of care and connection.

Today, Craft & Gather stands as a reflection of the community that built it. It’s a place where people come to celebrate, reconnect, and feel at home.

More than a restaurant, it’s a living example of what can happen when you mix hometown roots, hard work, and the simple joy of gathering together.
